Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Li Shan In Front Of The Window by Zhao Gang was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 480,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 509,760.00 (€ 52,481.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhao Gang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2013 the work without title was auctioned for CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 480.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 509.760,00 (€ 52.481,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
