Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zhao Gang was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,434.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhao Gang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhao Gang wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.434,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Gang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
