Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Festival(Painted In 2006) by Zhao Gang was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 4,980.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring Festival(Painted In 2006) von Zhao Gang wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 4.980,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
