Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Zhao Gang for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,417.81). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhao Gang für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.417,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
