Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red No. 8 by Zhang Peng was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in New York in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,398.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Peng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gui Fei, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red No. 8 von Zhang Peng wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.398,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gui Fei beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.734,66) versteigert wurde.
