Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhang Peng could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Untitled (Three Works) changed hands for HKD 4,000.00 (€ 450.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gui Fei in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Peng konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Three Works) für HKD 4.000,00 (€ 450,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gui Fei im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.734,66).
