Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yu Ji by Zhang Peng was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,802.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Peng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gui Fei, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yu Ji von Zhang Peng wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.802,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gui Fei beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.734,66) versteigert wurde.
