Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Upward, Courtyard by Zhang Hui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Hui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Miraculous Slop Analysis 1, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,651.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Upward, Courtyard von Zhang Hui kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.651,76) versteigert wurde.
