Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Two Times by Zhang Hui. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,820.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Hui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Miraculous Slop Analysis 1, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 49,651.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Times von Zhang Hui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.820,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Miraculous Slop Analysis 1 beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 49.651,76) versteigert wurde.
