The work East And West Gate by Yuyu Yang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,656.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuyu Yang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit East And West Gate von Yuyu Yang kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.656,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
