Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pavilion under Moonlight by Yong Rong was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,616.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yong Rong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scholar’S Rock in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,280.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pavilion under Moonlight von Yong Rong wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.616,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yong Rong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scholar’S Rock im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.280,79).
