Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet by Yong Rong. It changed hands for a price of HKD 115,000.00 (€ 11,257.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yong Rong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scholar’S Rock in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,280.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet von Yong Rong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 115.000,00 (€ 11.257,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yong Rong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scholar’S Rock im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.280,79).
