Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Yong Rong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,541.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yong Rong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scholar’S Rock in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,280.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Yong Rong wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.541,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yong Rong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scholar’S Rock im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.280,79).
