Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy Couplet by Yong Rong was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,956.34), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yong Rong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scholar’S Rock in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,280.79).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet von Yong Rong wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.956,34) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yong Rong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scholar’S Rock im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.280,79).
