Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Xiao Bo could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Come To Visit changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,291.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Xiao Bo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2007 by the work Study Room at USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,169.66).
