In June 2021 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitg. Kunst II, which included the work One Second - Central Congression (4-tlg.) by Xiao Bo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 25% above the estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Bo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study Room, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,169.66).
Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitg. Kunst II durch, in der auch die Arbeit One Second - Central Congression (4-tlg.) von Xiao Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 25% über dem Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Bo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study Room beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 16.169,66) versteigert wurde.
