Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Seal Script by Wu Rangzhi was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 4,799.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Rangzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Caoshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 130,017.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Seal Script von Wu Rangzhi wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 4.799,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Rangzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Caoshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 130.017,02).
