Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barren Wood, Orchid and Bamboo by Wu Rangzhi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,304.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Rangzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Caoshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 130,017.02).
