The price achieved of USD 1,845,000.00 (€ 1,557,224.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Winston Churchill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tower Of The Koutoubia Mosque in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 8,285,000.00 (€ 9,732,740.78).
