Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vu D'Un Lac by Willy Schlobach was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 95,000.00 (€ 84,549.66). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willy Schlobach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Falaises, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 322,000.00 (€ 289,178.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vu D'Un Lac von Willy Schlobach wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 95.000,00 (€ 84.549,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Willy Schlobach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Falaises beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 322.000,00 (€ 289.178,27) versteigert wurde.
