Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View To The Mount Säntis by Willy Schlobach was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,404.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willy Schlobach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Falaises in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 322,000.00 (€ 289,178.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View To The Mount Säntis von Willy Schlobach wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.404,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Schlobach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Falaises im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 322.000,00 (€ 289.178,27).
