Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Bend On The Teith, Callander by William Bradley Lamond was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,310.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by William Bradley Lamond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Firin' bannocks in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 8,170.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Bend On The Teith, Callander von William Bradley Lamond wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.310,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Bradley Lamond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Firin' bannocks im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.640,00 (€ 8.170,24).
