Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work On the quayside by William Bradley Lamond. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,856.85). Admittedly, works by William Bradley Lamond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Firin' bannocks in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 8,170.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the quayside von William Bradley Lamond zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.856,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Bradley Lamond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Firin' bannocks im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.640,00 (€ 8.170,24).
