In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work The Mill Wheel by William Bradley Lamond. The price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,193.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by William Bradley Lamond have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2003 the work Firin' bannocks was auctioned for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 8,170.24).
