Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work The Mill Wheel by William Bradley Lamond. The price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,193.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by William Bradley Lamond have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2003 the work Firin' bannocks was auctioned for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 8,170.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mill Wheel von William Bradley Lamond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.193,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von William Bradley Lamond konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2003 die Arbeit Firin' bannocks für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 8.170,24) versteigert.
