Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Am Strand by Wilhelm Laage for EUR 298.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst at Ketterer and was even lower than the EUR 500.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Laage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Mann und Weib“ in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 3,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Am Strand von Wilhelm Laage für EUR 298,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst bei Ketterer erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Laage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Mann und Weib“ im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.000,00.
