In June 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Moon lady Vacay by Walter Price. The »bidding war« ended at USD 50,400.00 (€ 42,538.83), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Walter Price; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Parasympathetic sold at auction in March this year with the realized price of GBP 45,720.00 (€ 52,015.33).

Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moon lady Vacay von Walter Price zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 42.538,83) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Walter Price; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Parasympathetic im März diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 45.720,00 (€ 52.015,33).
