In the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Midnight Train to Georgia sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,300.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Walter Price; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Parasympathetic sold at auction in March this year with the realized price of GBP 45,720.00 (€ 52,015.33).
