In February 2013 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction), which included the work Procession by Verne Dawson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,519.46), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Verne Dawson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manhattan, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 47,800.00 (€ 39,849.94).

Im Februar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Procession von Verne Dawson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.519,46) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Verne Dawson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Manhattan beobachtet, die im November 2003 für USD 47.800,00 (€ 39.849,94) versteigert wurde.
