Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Patte by Valentine Hugo was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,867.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Patte von Valentine Hugo kam im Oktober 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.867,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
