Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait De Paul Eluard - 1932 by Valentine Hugo was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 19,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Eluard - 1932 von Valentine Hugo kam im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 19.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
