Auction result well in line with expectations
The work URS FISCHER (B. 1973) by Urs Fischer was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 252,000.00 (€ 231,023.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Urs Fischer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit URS FISCHER (B. 1973) von Urs Fischer wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 231.023,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Urs Fischer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Lamp/Bear) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 4.731.844,74).
