Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Urs Fischer could be acquired at Christies in London in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Nail Duo changed hands for GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,321.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Urs Fischer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Urs Fischer konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Nail Duo für GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.321,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Urs Fischer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Lamp/Bear) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 4.731.844,74).
