Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Alice by Udomsak Krisanamis was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,477.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Udomsak Krisanamis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Wind Cries Mary, which sold at auction in September 2019 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,493.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Alice von Udomsak Krisanamis wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.477,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Udomsak Krisanamis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Wind Cries Mary beobachtet, die im September 2019 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.493,35) versteigert wurde.
