The work Little Miss Strange by Udomsak Krisanamis was sold in the Contemporary Passions auction at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,340.00 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Udomsak Krisanamis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Wind Cries Mary, which sold at auction in September 2019 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,493.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Little Miss Strange von Udomsak Krisanamis wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Passions bei Sothebys in Köln versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.340,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Udomsak Krisanamis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Wind Cries Mary beobachtet, die im September 2019 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.493,35) versteigert wurde.
