In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II, which included the work Amen Corner by Udomsak Krisanamis. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,493.29), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Udomsak Krisanamis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wind Cries Mary in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,493.35).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amen Corner von Udomsak Krisanamis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.493,29) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Udomsak Krisanamis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Wind Cries Mary im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.493,35).
