The work Kawasaki by Udomsak Krisanamis was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,243.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Udomsak Krisanamis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wind Cries Mary in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,493.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kawasaki von Udomsak Krisanamis wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.243,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Udomsak Krisanamis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Wind Cries Mary im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.493,35).
