Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,543.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tseng Kwong Chi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jean-Michel Basquiat, New York, 1987 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,746.88).
