In the Dear Keith: Works from the Personal Collection of Keith Haring auction, the work Cape Canaveral, Florida, 1985 sold for USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,145.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tseng Kwong Chi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jean-Michel Basquiat, New York, 1987 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,746.88).
