Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Something More #1 by Tracey Moffatt was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,504.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tracey Moffatt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something More in August 2004 with an auction result of AUD 227,050.00 (€ 131,779.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Something More #1 von Tracey Moffatt kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.504,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tracey Moffatt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something More im August 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 227.050,00 (€ 131.779,57).
