Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scarred for Life II, 1999 by Tracey Moffatt was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in November this year. It changed hands for a price of AUD 14,760.00 (€ 8,949.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tracey Moffatt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Something More in August 2004 with an auction result of AUD 227,050.00 (€ 131,779.57).
