Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bust by Tony Matelli was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 22,717.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Tony Matelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2011 the work Lost & Sick was auctioned for USD 36,250.00 (€ 26,953.68).
