Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Vitalis by Toby Ziegler was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toby Ziegler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Designated For Leisure in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 179,739.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study for Vitalis von Toby Ziegler kam im Juni 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.103,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toby Ziegler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Designated For Leisure im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 128.500,00 (€ 179.739,40).
