Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tulip by Tim Maguire was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2006. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Maguire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 1997 in November 2003 with an auction result of AUD 329,000.00 (€ 198,469.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tulip von Tim Maguire kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tim Maguire erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 1997 im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 329.000,00 (€ 198.469,70).
