A top price for Tim Maguire
In November 2003 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Untitled 1997 by Tim Maguire. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 329,000.00 (€ 198,469.70), 50% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled 1997 is even the most expensive work of art by Tim Maguire that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2003 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 1997 von Tim Maguire zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 329.000,00 (€ 198.469,70) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
