Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled 97U10, 1997 by Tim Maguire was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in May last year. The price achieved of AUD 55,350.00 (€ 51,579.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Maguire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 1997, which sold at auction in November 2003 for AUD 329,000.00 (€ 198,469.70).

Die Arbeit Untitled 97U10, 1997 von Tim Maguire wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 55.350,00 (€ 51.579,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
