Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Thomas Nozkowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September 2021. In the New Now auction, the work Untitled (6–19) sold for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,413.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Nozkowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (8-64), which sold at auction in May this year for USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Nozkowski erzielte im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Untitled (6–19) für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.413,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54) versteigert wurde.
