Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art, which included the work Still Life With Painter'S Tools by Theo Bitter. The price achieved of EUR 2,390.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Theo Bitter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family Portrait, My Parents in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Painter'S Tools von Theo Bitter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.390,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theo Bitter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
