Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Woestijnstad by Theo Bitter for EUR 1,080.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Theo Bitter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family Portrait, My Parents in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woestijnstad von Theo Bitter für EUR 1.080,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theo Bitter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
