Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With A Mask, Jar And Red Herring by Theo Bitter was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Theo Bitter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Family Portrait, My Parents in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With A Mask, Jar And Red Herring von Theo Bitter wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theo Bitter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
