Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Theo Bitter could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction, the work The artist's table changed hands for EUR 750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theo Bitter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Portrait, My Parents in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Theo Bitter konnte im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries wechselte die Arbeit The artist's table für EUR 750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theo Bitter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Portrait, My Parents im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
